I've been fortunate to learn from some pretty amazing teachers - from kindergarten through graduate school. I've wanted to follow in their footsteps. Teaching is why I got into higher education, and it remains my passion. Below you'll find a list of some of my favorite classes I've taught, and a brief glimpse into what students have said about taking my classes.

Strategic Communication in Sports
Ever play fantasy football? Yes? Ever play it in a college class? We do! In this class, students are responsible for all of the strategic communication efforts around their team. From news releases and game notes, to social copy and longform feature stories, students gain hands-on experience while enjoying a friendly and (somewhat) competitive fantasy season.
Public Relations Writing
If you enjoy writing and creating things, public relations is an excellent career field for you! This class teaches foundational aspects of the unique writing tools and techniques every PR pro needs to know. The field changes rapidly - and so does this class. Here students learn how to write impactful stories for earned, owned, and paid media hits (and why each can be useful!).
Social Media Analytics
By the time you've read this sentence, the social media landscape has changed somehow. This class exposes students the most cutting edge tools and technologies for social listening and analysis that can be used to inform broader communication and business strategy. We partner with real-world clients for students to gain an applied, practical experience that leads to tangible outcomes.
